Synopsis
After a massive oil spill contaminates the world's food and water, scientist Simon Schinder creates ViaCure, a drink intended to protect people from its deadly effects. But when the cure goes horribly wrong, the combined disasters leave over 90% of the population dead. Among the survivors is Matthew, a former talk show host left with severe memory loss from the poisoning. Now living with a man he believes to be his uncle, Matthew tries to make sense of what's left of the world. With food becoming harder to trust, he begins making food reviews for other survivors, testing what's still safe to eat and sharing what he finds with anyone who might still be watching. But in a world where almost everything has changed, Matthew may not know as much about his new life as he thinks.
